Current Trends

We’re seeing kitchens move away from hardwood colors, back to painted cabinetry. More kitchens are choosing exciting colors with greens and blues. We’re also seeing more texture choices in cabinets.

These little changes help make each kitchen unique.

Another new trend is cabinets touching the ceiling, with no space above them. This provides more space for you, with less area that needs to be dusted. At the same time, some kitchens are going away from cabinets and towards open shelving.

Not All Cabinets Are Equal

A kitchen is a big expense, and you want one that will last. Many cheaper companies are selling MDF cabinets. However, for your primary residence, it makes sense to buy cabinets with high quality hinges and boards that are designed to last.

All of our cabinets are laminated furniture board or full plywood construction.

Depending on the style of cabinetry the most common choice is solid wood fronts. We would only use a veneer if it is a European (frameless) style cabinet. Cabinet doors can come in many different wood species from MDF to Maple, Oak, Hickory, Cherry, Walnut and more.

Customizing with Add-ons

A lot of our customers want pull-out spice racks, trash pull-outs, and utensil dividers. We can do cutlery dividers, pull-out spice racks, or utensil pull-outs, trash cans, tray dividers, mixer lifts, and so much more.

Often, clients also want us to integrate appliance garages, charging drawers, or hidden pantries. We can help you get.
